Welcome to Ad & Sales Club
David Dargie has been an "everyday philanthropist" for as long as he can remember. Trained as a secondary school teacher, David taught English and Physical Education for 12 years before becoming a Vice Principal and Principal for the last 21 years of his career as an educator.
After "retiring" in February, 2000 David has spent the past 11 years working in various roles, volunteering in the Brockville and area community, and building up his own consulting firm - "Winning Edge Technologies".
"The impulse to 'do good' is in all of us. But there are many of us who are overwhelmed by the sheer number of 'causes' that we could embrace. Let's explore in "How to be an Everyday Philanthropist" how we can give back, pay it forward, and share our personal resources of time, talent and money to make our communities the safest, healthiest and best places to live, learn, work and play!"
Bring your business cards at our next Ad & Sales Club meeting, we now offer a business card display available to all our members. The cards will be out on the Welcome Table at every meetings.
If you have any great suggestions to improve your networking experience, share them with one of your board members, through the comment box on our website or with our new suggestion box placed on the Welcome Table.
